The Hull Kingston Rovers Community Trust – also known as the Hull KR Foundation – is a registered charity whose aim is to inspire people through sport and physical activity.
Based at the Sewell Group Craven Park Stadium in Marfleet, Hull – home of Hull Kingston Rovers rugby league club – the organisation’s remit also extends to everything from maternal health to dementia support.
The help they needed from TITAN was secure storage for a food donation scheme that would provide goods for food banks in the local area.
The charity’s CEO, Craig Shepherd, contacted us to ask if we could provide them with a 10ft container for several months at an attractive rate.
We were delighted to help and quickly arranged free delivery of a 20ft container at a special low rate so they would never run out of storage space.
Our steel containers are super-tough and watertight; ideal for keeping perishable goods safe and dry.
WHY WE CHOSE TO SUPPORT THIS PROJECT
This request ticked all the boxes for us. It was completely aligned with our mission to support registered charities working for the good of their local community, and we were delighted to help.
