New (1-trip) models that we sell typically have a lifespan of several decades. And if you’re looking for an ultra-cheap storage container, even our very oldest Grade C models will usually be good for quite a few years yet.

How we grade our used containers for sale
Premium quality
You'll find it hard to fault our premium quality containers. They're delivered in a "like new" state and have been used for storage purposes only. Scuffs and marks will be minimal or non-existent.
Grade A
The second-best container grade covers the next 10-15% of our used models. They're not quite as appealing as a premium quality container, but they are cosmetically sound and should last many years.
Grade B
Your typical, average-quality used container. Likely to have been made at least 15 years ago, these still have years of use left in them and can often be brought back to their former glory with some TLC.
Grade C
This is the domain of the cheap used container – our bottom 10-15% of stock in terms of quality. Most are still fully functional, and while their condition is poor they are still the right choice for some buyers.

What to expect when you buy a storage container from TITAN
Our containers are built like tanks and designed to offer you secure storage for many years.
Your quote will include delivery (though you can collect your container if you have suitable transport), with installation usually provided by a driver in a Hiab vehicle. That’s the kind of delivery truck with a crane on the back.
When you buy from us, you can add multiple options – or take your container exactly as it comes. Customers ask for everything from electrics and lighting to be fitted, as well as ramps and ultra-tough padlocks.
The first question you’ll need to ask yourself, though, is how big a model you need.
Getting the size of your storage container right
Here are the six sizes you can choose from (complete with external dimensions – length, width, height):
6ft storage container – 1.98m x 1.95m x 1.91m
8ft storage container – 2.44m x 2.20m x 2.26m
10ft storage container – 2.99m x 2.44m x 2.59m
20ft storage container – 6.06m x 2.44m x 2.59m
40ft storage container – 12.19m x 2.44m x 2.59m

Our small containers for sale are well suited to sole traders and domestic use, and even our smallest model – the six foot storage container – can accommodate a surprising amount if packed well.
At the opposite end of the scale, you can buy a 40ft container from us. These often serve as large, secure storage spaces for commercial clients.
Even bigger is our incredible 40ft high cube container – the largest model we stock, with an extra 10% headroom compared to standard models.
Additionally, we have a range of specialist containers well suited to unusual-shaped loads or unique storage needs. These include insulated containers, open sided containers and tunnel containers – also known as double door containers.
Choosing the right spot for your storage container
Whether you’re a business customer looking for storage containers to buy or a private buyer, it’s always a good idea to think about where the best place to site it will be.
The best solution will be a flat, level surface, and generally speaking, a hardstanding is usually the best option. However, as our storage containers are shipping container grade, they have corrosion-resistant finishing, so a lawn may be possible.
