How wide is a high cube shipping container?
A High Cube container is 8ft (2.44 m) wide externally, the same as any standard container. Internal width is 2.35 m. The only width-related difference between standard and High Cube is height-related: more headroom feels more spacious in the same footprint. There are no wide-body variants in mainstream ISO sizes.
Did you know?
A high cube container is almost the same width as a standard container. Keeping the width unchanged allows it to remain compatible with the same ships, trucks, cranes and handling equipment. TITAN CONTAINERS ARE CERTIFIED TO, OR CAN SUPPORT COMPLIANCE WITH, THE FOLLOWING ACCREDITATIONS
