The ArcticStore SmartArctic platform was developed in response to customer requests for remote monitoring of their cold storage systems.
Standard on more than 95% of our cold storage containers, this easy-to-use platform can be accessed via computer, tablet or smartphone and provides total control of any ArcticStore containers (including SuperStores, ArcticBlast and UltraFreezers) within your cold storage network.
SmartArctic enables remote functionality such as temperature set point changes, defrosting, performance monitoring, status reporting, trend analysis, plus you can log file downloads and configure alarm notifications – from anywhere in the world.

What if we could make our already energy-efficient range of ArcticStore containers even kinder on the environment and our customers’ bottom line? That was the challenge we put to our engineers in 2019 as part of TITAN’s ongoing quest to help businesses lower their carbon footprint and reduce their energy bills.
The result is ArcticStore Tropical – so named because of the original concept of reducing power consumption in tropical zones with year-round hotter climates. If you were to turn an ArcticStore Tropical off when the temperature was at -40°C, it would take almost 50% longer to warm up to zero degrees than an original design ArcticStore container.
Under controlled testing, the heat leakage at 20°C K20, W/m2 K was reduced by as much as 50% – and by an average of 30%. Proof positive of its phenomenal improved insulation values.
What this means to a business is less energy use overall. With the insulated walls acting as an incredibly effective barrier against external temperatures, you can maintain the internal temperature you need using less electricity.
In tests of the electric consumption over 24hrs at an ambient 25℃, while keeping the temperature at -40℃ – measured by an exterior electricity meter – the kWh was reduced by an average of 13-14%. Please get in touch with our specialist team for more details.

While many customers prefer to rent portable cold store solutions from us, we are, of course, happy to accommodate clients who have the need or desire to purchase.
We offer brand new (never used), lightly used and older rental fleet units. Depending on the quality required, lead-time is normally between 10 – 90 days. If you need cold storage faster than this, we can supply you with a rental solution for the interim period at a discount.
